Klasa Filmowa 2016: Lesson No. 6 - Creating Media Texts (Hands-on)

Tym razem uczniowie spróbowali stworzyć coś sami.
Poszliśmy zwiedzić niedawno otwartą wystawę pt.
"Śladami wyprawy Lewisa i Clarka na Zachód Ameryki".
Uczniowie mieli zrelacjonować wyprawę do muzeum
wykorzystując do tego celu różne media: aparat
fotograficzny, kamerę wideo, rejestrator dźwięku,
oraz papierowy notatnik. W tym ostatnim przypadku,
papier i długopis zastąpił smartfon z funkcją
pisania notatek, co zasadniczo na jedno wychodzi.
This time we have tried to create something on our own.
We went to see the newly opened exhibition "In the footsteps
of Lewis and Clark on their journey to the West of
America". Students were to report our excursion to the
museum, using various media: photographic camera, video
camera, sound recorder, and the paper notepad. This
last medium was replaced by a smartphone app, which
is essentially the same.

Wszyscy potraktowali bardzo poważnie swoje zadania
i starali się wykorzystać zalety medium, które
przyszło im wykorzystać. Również nasz przewodnik, nie
mający wprawdzie roli w tworzeniu tekstu medialnego,
odegrał ważną rolę w całym przedsięwzięciu.
All students took very seriously their jobs and did
their best to use the advantages of their medium, which
happened to be assigned to them. Although our guide
did not participate directly in the process o creating
any media text, her role was no less important in
our endavour.

Wystawa była bardzo ciekawa i uświadomiła uczniom
jakie ogromne znaczenie miała w amerykańskiej historii
wyprawa Lewisa i Clarka. Poznawanie historii w ten
sposób jest bardzo ciekawą i angażującą formą pogłębiania
wiedzy.
The exhibition was very interesting and made the students
realise how important in the Americam history was Lewis
and Clark expedition. Learning history this way is a very
interesting and engaging form of education.

Zadaniem domowym było zrelacjonowanie wycieczki oraz
podzielenie się refleksją na temat zalet i wad, możliwości
i ograniczeń medium, z którego się korzystało.
The homework was to write a report fro the trip to the
museum and reflect on advantages and disadvantages,
possibilities and the limits of the given medium.
